Here I am in my 70th year and still answering an incessantly ringing Emergency Department phone with a familiar, “ER, Eva”. This is not at all where I imagined myself to be at this stage of my life; but here is good, as my youngest daughter coaches. I’m consistently reminded of this - especially as I work as an ER nurse.
Where are you? Have you floated along and landed in a soft comfortable existence, or have you been swept away as I, on a river of change, adaptation, and evolution? Come along with me; let’s share our experiences.
